About Event
Spend the day with Black Hippie Art!
We will be traveling to the Brandywine Museum of Art to see Jerrell Gibbs' "No Solace in the Shade" exhibition, which is currently on view until March 1st, 2026. We will also have an opportunity to view Ruth E. Carter's "Afrofuturism in Costume Design,” currently at the African American Museum of Philadelphia.
Bus pick up and drop off will be at the African American Museum of Philadelphia. This trip is free and has limited availability.
11:30 - 1:00 pm: Self-guiding at AAMP
1:00 - 2:00 pm: Bus ride to Brandywine
2:00 - 3:00 pm: Guided tour at Brandywine
3:00 - 4:00 pm: Art activity at Brandywine
4:00 - 5:00 pm: Bus ride to back to AAMP
