Mandala Project 2026
A Creative Collaboration in Nature.
Please join climate activist/sculptor Lia Strell along with creative nature/eco friends for this engaging community collaboration in the San Deguito Lower Park. Enter off El Camino.
To begin we will lay out the rich compost then with the slowed down process select and add color, such as colorful leaves, seed pods crystals, feathers, sticks and more! All natural material are provided. You might be thinking of bringing some natural materials to add to this three dimensional artistic palette of natural wonder.
Come and go as you please! Sit or walk in the park and join in this process. Visit the Pollinator Garden and the SMRT Native Garden close by.

12p Eat drink BYO lunch and water
2p Walk to Pollinator Garden. 1/8 mile
3-4p Closing Sacred Movement Circle
Our day closes with a sacred circle inspired by Qi Gong led by Susan Freeman, celebrating nature through movement and poetry.
You may park outside the gate for free or pay $5 to park. 15936 El Camino Real (lower park entrance by the pond)
This is an outdoor event. Wear appropriate shoes, Bring water, a blanket to sit upon and some healthy snacks. Gather and be creative in this beautiful setting with your friends.
