We recently hosted Pitch Global CVC Leadership Conference as a part of our outreach on behalf of Norcal SBDC funded through California Governor's Office of Economic Development and Small Business Administration to CVC's and other investors who are investingin Silicon Valley in startups which can create Economic Impact and jobs.

Startup Event Agenda:
12:30 to 1 pm: Practice your pitch with SJSU's 3rd CVC cohort.
1 to 1:30 pm: Comments on how entrepreneurs can engage with Family Offices by Jimmy Egias.
1:30 to 2 pm: Pitch to CVC's/VC's/angels.
As an added bonus, if you sign up to present Early Bird, we will interview you briefly, along with interviews of CVC's/VC's/angels after the break on the 3rd floor, with your name on the Agenda and get you a higher status and investor attention.
2 to 2.15 pm: Table set up on the 3rd Floor www.sjpl.org/about-sjpl-works for exhibiting to a larger audience.
2.15 pm to 2.30 pm: Registration and Networking.
2.30-2. 50 pm: Q&A Style Keynote on How Startups can engage with Corporates by Indradeep Ghosh, CEO Fujitsu Labs & Shota Shota Ushihara, Fujitsu Ventures.
2.50-3.20 pm: Panel Discussion on How Entrepreneurs can work with CVC/VC/Angel/Govt/Family Funds ---- Abhishek Sud, Sr Director of Investing Applied Material Ventures, Geetha Dholakia Portfolio Program Director TDK Ventures, R. Paul Singh Co-Chair TIE Institute/Angel Investor Moderated by Rachan Dayal, Founder Sugati Ventures, Co-founder Silicon Valley Access.
3.20-4.20 pm: Startup Presentations.
4.20 pm-Closing Remarks. How Entrepreneurs can connect with Investors from SOCAL eco system. Dhaval Kapadia. Co-Chair TIE SOCAL Angels, ex-Apollo PE.
4.30 pm Networking over pizza.

Sample Event speaker list: (These are some of the recent speakers in our event, some of whom are expected to attend)
1) Startups will be connected to the UC Berkeley Extension team at the beginning of the week of the event. The Extension team will provide logistical details and the event link.
2) During the event, startups will have a total of 8 minutes—6 minutes to pitch and 2 minutes for questions from featured judges and attendees (which would also include investors).
3) A private meeting with a featured judge (assigned based on fit) will be facilitated after the main event. The judge and startup presenter will also be connected by email on the event day.
4) The registered startup company’s name and information will be sent to our network of investors via our newsletter, increasing the startup's visibility with a broader number of investors.
