Claude Code for Excel | Workshop

​You know Excel. You don't need another formula tutorial.

​What you need is a way to skip the tedious parts: the formatting, the copy-paste across sheets, the monthly reports that eat your afternoon.

This workshop shows you how Claude Code changes the way you work with spreadsheets, from understanding a model you inherited, to solving ad hoc problems without Googling, to building a script that handles your monthly reporting for you.

​In the live demo, we'll build that automation script from scratch. The kind of task that normally takes an hour, done in seconds.

​The program (~2 hours):

• ​30 min live demo on a real Excel file

• ​90 min guided practice: bring your own spreadsheet and a task you'd love to never do manually again. Work on it with support, or watch someone else's problem get solved and steal the approach.

​This is for you if:

• ​You work with Excel regularly (finance, operations, reporting, portfolio management, consulting)

• ​You've never used Claude Code: no prior experience needed (but welcome)

• ​You're tired of repetitive spreadsheet work and open to a radically different approach

• ​Your laptop (Mac, Windows, or Linux but Mac has the smoothest setup)

​Nice to have:

• ​A Claude subscription

• ​A spreadsheet and a repetitive task you'd love to never do manually again (or use our demo dataset)
