The AI Agentic Economy Has Finally Arrived: Stripe London Community
The emergence of OpenClaw in early 2026 is creating an explosion of AI Agents doing work for people in the real world. This is finally unlocking the Agentic Economy that's been overpromised and underdelivered, for years.
Cal Mitchell, a Stripe London Community organizer, will take us on an abridged tour of the "Payments Iceberg," starting from cash and progressing in sophistication to finally focus on the big bang moment of AI Agentic Commerce that we're experiencing right now.
Next, we'll balance things out by hearing from Dines - a UK Fintech startup that integrates payment hardware and software in the most human-centric way possible. Their solutions enable in-person commerce at the most demanding, high-volume environments, such as music festivals and crowded hospitality venues.

We'll start our tour of the payments iceberg by discussing how London's fiercely competitive Fintech scene is pushing physical cash to the brink of extinction.

Then, we'll dig deeper to talk about how AI is changing the Ecommerce landscape. And now, with OpenClaw, we finally have accessible agents to follow through on the demand side. We really are entering the world of "zero click" commerce.
