A Day on Earth: US Premiere at the 2026 Jackson Wild Media Awards
Join us for the US premiere of One Day On Earth, alongside partners the Sacred Path x The Autry Pow Wow, Jackson Wild, and Hollywood Climate Summit.
The Jackson Wild Hollywood Summit will be the setting for our US premiere. We’re excited to be part of this year’s edition, which focuses on biodiversity.
We continue to build and pave the way for the voices and work of Indigenous filmmakers and storytellers.
We are thrilled to have Bill Pullman introduce our film. After the premiere, join us for a conversation with director Paul Redman, producer Lucía Ixchíu, editor Nanang Sujana, and If Not Us Then Who's Training Department Lead, Yurshell Rodríguez, moderated by Dana Ledoux Miller.
Make a Day of It
Our screening is in partnership with the Sacred Path x The Autry Pow Wow 2026, a full-day celebration of Native culture at the Autry. Come early and enjoy traditional dancing and songs led by Northern- and Southern-style drummers and singers, Indian tacos and fry bread, and vendors selling traditional and contemporary Native arts and crafts. The pow wow runs from 10 AM to 8 PM, with Grand Entry at 1 PM. It is free and open to the public.
Bring a picnic and spend the afternoon with us in Griffith Park.
Plan ahead. The pow wow and premiere will bring big crowds to the Autry, and parking will fill up fast. Arrive early to find a spot and settle in before the screening starts at 3 PM.
About the Film: A Day On Earth
Seen through the eyes of those who know it most intimately.
Filmed by 76 Indigenous Peoples, local and Afro-descendant storytellers across 27 countries in one day, Earth Day, A Day on Earth is an intimate portrait of our relationship with the living world. Moving from birth to death and spirituality, the film reveals moments of beauty, struggle, humor, ritual, and everyday life. It offers an antidote to despair and a powerful reminder that another relationship with the Earth is not only possible; it is already being lived.
