Meet Your Trainer: Suraya Turk
Suraya is an Australian-qualified lawyer with 20+ years of experience. She advises startups, SMEs, multinationals, government and funds on corporate, commercial, compliance and regulatory matters, governance, risk management and fundraising. She is known for guiding clients through the region’s evolving regulatory landscape with practical, business driven solutions.
Suraya is deeply embedded in the regional innovation ecosystem; having partnered, collaborated and advised leading incubators, accelerators, and hubs; supporting 600+ start-ups across MENA, including high-growth companies listed on Forbes Middle East’s Top Startup list.
Her deal experience includes managing multimillion-dollar fundraisings, complex shareholder negotiations, ESOP structuring, and cross-border regulatory compliance.
