Builders Without Borders: Founders & Vino #NYCTechWeek
During the noise of NYC Tech Week, we’re opening up a space to slow down.
Club Calima, LaFamilia Foundation and Amigas In Tech are bringing together a curated group of LATAM founders, creatives, investors, and friends of the community to come together outside of work to talk culture, art, and everything in between.
What to expect:
Relaxed atmosphere
Light structure to facilitate introductions
Guided wine tasting with the host
Who should come:
Founders building in the U.S. with global roots
Investors interested in emerging and cross-border markets
Operators supporting high-growth teams
Where we are hosting:
Saint James Libations in Bushwick, Brooklyn, is a queer, Black woman-owned wine bar and cultural salon that serves as a dedicated, intimate sanctuary for creatives. Located in a 2,000sq ft space, it specializes in micro-produced wines, small bites, art, and curated experiences.
We encourage guests to support the bar, as proceeds go back to support the NYC Chapter at LaFamilia Foundation .

Amigas In Tech is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit creating space, access, and community for professionals across the country. We support our community through both personal and professional development, whether that’s in their careers, businesses, or everyday lives. What started as a local chapter has grown into a broader network spanning Colorado, New York, California, and Mexico City, with both national and international partnerships.
Programs: We design and lead programming across career development, entrepreneurship, and community experiences, from founder and operator sessions to wellness-centered events that connect people to opportunity, resources, and each other.
Partnerships: We collaborate across nonprofit, corporate, and startup ecosystems, including work through the Technology Employment Colorado Partnership, a $7.4M U.S. Department of Labor-funded initiative expanding access to tech careers. We are also part of the Poderistas Partner Network, a national network founded by America Ferrera, Eva Longoria, and other Latina leaders, and an official partner of Latino Tech Week 2026.
Community: Our network includes 2,000+ members across operators, founders, and professionals. As we continue expanding in New York, we’re excited to be building locally and to partner with La Familia in co-hosting this event.
