INSTRUCTOR
Shagho is a multidisciplinary design leader, artist, and cultural practitioner who works at the frontiers of innovation and community. She is also a founder of Folk Lounge, hosting Embroidery Socials around LA.
"Every stitch carries a whisper from the past, a light from the future. I created this series to connect generations through shared spaces where we can learn, create, and celebrate together. With roots in Armenian and Russian culture, I’m drawn to the language of ornament—and when I started embroidery, I knew it would be far more joyful as a collective experience."
— Shagho, Founder

SPACE
Frogtown Arts is a nonprofit rooted in Elysian Valley, along the Los Angeles River — one of the few places in LA where art, community, and place-making have been quietly inseparable for nearly two decades. Through festivals, free classes, film, and year-round programming, they hold space for artists and neighbors alike.
