J.O.STUDIO PRESENTATION
J.O.STUDIO takes on music festivals with their debut Manchester Fashion Week exhibition. Come and experience two years of sustainable fashion in action, as the Manchester-based designer presents a selection of work created from discarded festival tents.
Based in Manchester, J.O.STUDIO is a circular brand that salvages tents abandoned at UK music festivals, transforming them into apparel and accessories that are as functional as they are playful. This immersive exhibition will invite audiences to reconsider the value of materials we view as disposable, and imagine a future for fashion where we design with what already exists.
We’re bringing the factory to Fashion Week! Local manufacturers Making Room will be live-making throughout the day, transforming discarded tents into J.O.STUDIO products before your eyes. Meet the makers, explore the process and witness the work, care and skill that goes into every J.O.STUDIO product.
With music from Twin Complex and drinks from Loco Wines, join us for an evening of socialising, networking and conversations about the future of fashion and festivals!
