Music Industry 101, Session 4: Live Music & Touring
Session 4 of the 4-part Music Industry 101 series explores touring as an artist.
In this four-part Music Industry 101 series, Pablo Max will walk aspiring commercial musicians through how the industry at-large works. This series is aimed at anyone curious about working in the music industry, becoming a professional artist, songwriter, or producer, or general curiosity about the inner workings of the business.
In Session #4, Pablo will cover Touring & Live Shows. What are the components of live shows? How are show fees/negotiations structured? How do ticket prices work? Who finances touring and how does everyone make money?
Note: Each session is structured independently and can be attended separately without missing context.
Please arrive by 7pm for introductions, followed by the keynote and Q&A.
