Human Nature: An Immersive Elemental Experience in Climate, Art, and Emotion
What does the climate crisis feel like in your body?
Co-created by Spaceworks Tacoma and the Office of Leslie Davenport, Human Nature is an immersive, participatory experience held as part of PNW Climate Week. Move through four elemental stations — Earth, Air, Fire, and Water — each paired with an emotional landscape and hands-on activities designed to help you process, reflect, and reconnect.
🌍 Earth — plant seeds, press your fears into soil, and let the ground hold what you can't carry alone.
💨 Air — whisper what's hard to say, breathe in cedar and rosemary, and find space to be inspired.
🔥 Fire — release your rage and reconnect with your passion with your body and for the world.
💧 Water — dissolve a loss, find your flow, and take home a word that carries you forward.
Stations may include floor cushions and conversation prompts for those who want to go deeper together. Community artwork will be on display throughout the space.
Additional areas include a Climate Emotions Wheel, an Eco-Commitment installation, and more.
