​You’re invited to the launch of Pause AI West of England.

For the first time PauseAI has activated its Warning Shot Protocol, a call for immediate action and mobilisation. We are joining the global network of activists, politicians and AI professionals who are warning of the dangers of AI and asking for us to PAUSE.

​We’re building our regional branch of our international campaign calling for a pause on the development of the most powerful AI systems, until they can be shown to be safe and under meaningful control.

​Whether you’re familiar with AI safety, just exploring the issue, you’re very welcome! AI impacts all of us and so all of us should understand the risks. This isn't just for "techy people" and this event is accessible for everyone!
