About Event

What if taking embodiment seriously reshapes how we design future technologies?

What if the body is the final frontier in understanding ourselves?

Modern AI models reason without bodies, yet Human intelligence emerges through relation, sensation, movement, spatiality, and action. Embodied and extended cognition, long-established fields in neuroscience and cognitive science, now confirm that thinking is not confined to the brain, but arises through interaction with the world.

Join us for the most important conversation of our time- How intelligence forms with and without relational embodiment, and what Humans and AI can learn from each other.

By bringing together neuroscience, embodiment and AI research, this session explores how Humans regulate attention, perception, and meaning through the body—and how machines attempt to model context, space, and action without one. Particularly, the role of somatic, energetic, relational dynamics in shaping us as we shape our world.

Join Ishita where cognitive science, AI research, and embodiment intersect to explore where intelligence truly takes shape, how it transforms into wisdom, and what Love's got to do with all of it.

ISHITA SHARMA - CONVENER
An unconventional guide for unusual times, Ishita Sharma is a transformational coach, embodiment teacher, speaker and writer. Through mentoring, retreats, speaking and courses, she helps clients get where they want to go, while enjoying who and where they already are!

Having spent her Life studying what she calls relational meta-physics- how Life and people actually work, and the alchemy of joy, she brings a radically practical mystical lens to augment personal and systemic well-being in the age of AI.

Ishita has spoken at the World Women Summit, and is a quiet catalyst behind sincere seekers, renowned entrepreneurs, Silicon Valley CEOs, visionaries, culture-shapers and creatives (at Google, NASA, Broadway) etc. looking for new, deeper ways through old challenges, and fulfillment beyond conventional success.

She is known for her warm presence and precision, and a refined capacity to softly unlock the heart of long-standing binds. Seeing how direct Self-knowledge and genuine community are medicine for most modern malaise, her work facilitates both.

JESH DE ROX - PANELIST
Jesh is a cultural anthropologist, writer, speaker & founder whose work explores the link between emotional intelligence, creative genius and human connection.

One of the most award-winning photographers of his generation, Jesh’s developed a patent-pending technique called Superfeel that gives photographers the ability to spark instant genuine emotion. Superfeel revolutionized the industry & has been used to bring moments of connection and joy to more than 100 million people.

His discoveries also led to the development of Kindrêd, a modern form of meditation that helps participants easily regulate their emotions & access states of creative genius.

Through speaking engagements, retreats, mentorship programs, podcasts & writings, Jesh has shared his rare expertise in the subjects of human connection, relationship, creative genius & the formation of culture with hundreds of thousands of people.

DANIEL JOHN POVINELLI - PANELIST
Daniel John Povinelli is a cognitive scientist, anthropologist, playwright, and visual artist whose work explores what, exactly, is distinctive about being human.

A longtime professor of biology at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, he has spent decades comparing humans and  chimpanzees to investigate higher-order cognition, social understanding, causal  reasoning, and the nature of the self.

He is the author of Folk Physics for Apes and World without Weight and, with folklorist Brandon Barker, co-editor of The Aesop’s Fable Paradigm: An Unlikely Intersection of Folklore and Science, extending his scientific work into a rich dialogue with story, myth, and the humanities.

His creative works includes Confessions of a Former Monkey Mind Doctor, more theater projects such as Fixing Mister B, and his Inner Face portrait project, which turns self-portraiture into an inquiry of the face  as subjectively experienced from the inside out.

Across science, theater, and art, Povinelli  begins and returns to one enduring question: what makes humans human?
