SFCW at Climate One: 2026 Goldman Environmental Prize Winners - In Person
Join Climate One and the Goldman Environmental Prize for a special panel and networking reception! 🌍✨
Every year, the Goldman Environmental Prize is awarded to grassroots environmental heroes from around the world. Climate One is honored to partner with the Goldman Prize to host two of this year's winners the following day, in an intimate conversation at the Commonwealth Club, where you’ll have a chance to meet them in person. The names of the winners are not yet public, but we can assure you that every Goldman Prize winner we’ve featured in the past (Nalleli Cobo, Marjan Minnesma, Alfred Brownell, Diane Wilson etc.) brings a deeply heroic story of protecting their community against powerful interests.
Join Climate One Co-Host Kousha Navidar as we explore what compels a few ordinary people to take extraordinary actions to protect our planet – often at great personal risk.
📍 Location: The Commonwealth Club

💚 About the Goldman Environmental Prize
As the world's foremost award for grassroots environmental leaders, the Goldman Environmental Prize honors the achievements and leadership of activists around the world, inspiring all of us to take action to protect our planet. Each year, the Prize winners’ stories highlight that you don’t have to cross oceans to find environmental leadership—you might find it next door. Global movements begin in backyards and town halls, in our homes, our neighborhoods, and our communities—led by regular people. Change starts where you stand.
The 2026 Goldman Environmental Prize winners will be announced on Monday, April 20, 2026.
