EcoCupid Film Festival | Environmental Cinema Afternoon

​Come for a single film or stay for the whole thing. It's a relaxed, thoughtful afternoon and a great place to meet filmmakers, journalists, and others who love a good environmental story. We are screening a carefully sequenced lineup of impactful documentaries, followed by deep-dive discussions.

​1:00 PM | Itam: A Sun Bear Story
This is a special screening for a new documentary still in cinemas nationwide. We kick off the afternoon with a conservation story based in the rainforests of Borneo. Check out the TRAILER here. The screening is immediately followed by a special appearance from director Raymond Tan.

​3:00 PM | Earth in Focus Film Festival Showcase
An hour of curated films and panels featuring Singaporean youth filmmakers presented by Singapore's leading nature film festival. Learn more HERE

​4:15 PM | Viet Endangered Narratives Showcase
Travel to Da Nang, Vietnam, where we experience a film by the rising nature documentary team, Da Nang: Biodiversity City. Learn more HERE

​4:30 PM | The Mekong Trap
We screen our very own documentary uncovering the true cost of Thailand's renewable energy transition.

​5:00 PM | Panel: Singapore's Energy Transition Journalism Immediately following the film, our panel asks one sharp question: What would an underreported energy transition story look like for Singapore?
