About Event

We kick off the afternoon with a curated screening of "Itam: A Sun Bear Story", a story based in the rainforests of Borneo, followed by a follow-up chat with director Raymond Tan. Then, an hour of curated films and panels from the Earth in Focus Film Festival featuring Singaporean youth filmmakers. We will travel to Da Nang, Vietnam, where we experience a film by the rising nature documentary team, Viet Endangered Narratives.

Then, we will screen our very own "The Mekong Trap", a documentary uncovering the true cost of Thailand's renewable energy transition, which will be immediately followed by a panel session that asks one sharp question: What would an underreported energy transition story look like for Singapore?

Come for a single film or stay for the whole thing. It's a relaxed, thoughtful afternoon and a good place to meet filmmakers, journalists, and others who love a good environmental story.

S$2 per ticket only. "Itam: A Sun Bear Story" screening begins at 1 pm, Earth in Focus Film Festival showcase begins at 3 pm, Viet Endangered Narratives showcase begins at 4 pm, "The Mekong Trap" screening and panel begin at 4:30 pm.
