About Event

Love contemporary art, wildlife, intellectual conversation and free organic, farm-to-table food?

Then come join us on Saturday November 21st from 3pm-4.30pm at the IA&A at Hillyer for a free communal 3 course supper club experience held inside of a the current exhibition "Re-Inhabiting Conservation: Our Shared Skies" - an art exhibition celebrating winged creatures.

(art by Bandana Paul)

‘The Conscious Museum’ will be a communal exploration and experiment in public advocacy for conservation and dialogue. Through food, prompts, poetry and sound, we will explore the ecology of organic food, the future of conservation and its intersection with art, and the consciousness of our environment and the winged creatures who allow for its existence.

This three-course, farm-to-table supper club invites the public to drop in and come into dialogue with our invited supper club guests who work in compost, music, farming and curation, to eat together and ideate together, creating our own museum of conscious thought.

Food will be cold served, including appetisers, starter, main and dessert.

Featuring:

At the end of this event, you will be able to take home the menu, which will include more information on the artists and contributing guests, as well as seeds for you to grow at home or at your own plot of land, and any left over fresh, organic produce from our supper club tablescape.

We invite the community to explore these important questions through joy, wonder and the senses!

Leading this event will be Creature Conserve’s Director of Curatorial Programs, Heather McMordie (@hlmcmo), and Creature Conserve’s 2026 Curatorial Fellow, Marissa Mireles Hinds (@sanseriif).
