About the event:
This is basically an intimate concert, plant-based dinner party, and friendship-making night combined
June's monthly theme is STORYTELLING and how it intersects with the climate crisis
You will leave this event with newer and deeper friendships with people who care about imagining the future we want to live in
Imagination is one of the most powerful tools to heal climate anxiety so we'll talk about how to tell better stories!
Please do your best to arrive by 6:30!
6-7ish will be dedicated dinner + chat time, 7-8pm will be our concert interspersed with conversation prompts, and 8-9pm will be choose-your-own-adventure discussions and bite-sized actions.

Soapbox Seattle is the city's most joyful community space for climate action. We gather EVERY TUESDAY same time same place (climate church?? lol)
It's all ages
Plant-based dinner is always included so you don't have to think about what to eat. We have our own lovely chef so the food is cooked with love from local and regenerative farmers
No you do not have to be "a climate person" to come; you just need to be excited to meet people who share your values of caring about the earth/each other/wanting to breathe air etc. and no experience is required!
There will be activities and programming! This is not one of those networking events where you pretend to be on your phone because you don't know what to do.
All our events are sliding scale and if the litsed options don't work for you, you can request a reparative ticket here if you need one. It costs us ~$35 per person to put on so please contribute what you can
