Workshop: Character-First Story Bible Workflows
Not every story starts with a plot—and it doesn’t have to. This class is designed for character-driven writers who build their stories from the inside out.
Using your existing brainstorming notes and chosen genre, we’ll develop a complete Story Bible by starting where your ideas are strongest: your characters. Together, we’ll shape a compelling protagonist, expand your supporting cast, and identify missing roles to create a well-balanced ensemble. From there, we’ll fill in minor characters and refine your cast so every role serves a purpose.
Next, we’ll move into organic worldbuilding—developing settings, key items, and important events based on what your characters need and experience, rather than forcing a world onto them.
With a strong character foundation in place, we’ll build a synopsis that grows naturally from your characters’ goals, conflicts, and arcs. Finally, we’ll use Chat to choose a fitting plot structure and generate a flexible outline that you can adapt to your story.
This is a hands-on session—bring your brainstorming notes and build your Story Bible step by step as we go.
