About Event

We're celebrating one year of Späti Stories with an evening at one of Berlin's most remarkable venues.

-----

‼️ Limited to 30 participants. Registration requires two steps: first register on Luma, then we'll send you the ticket purchase link by email.

Your 20 EUR ticket includes: guided tour of the venue and academy, Levantine finger food and drinks, plus a concert by HK Gruber and Kirill Gerstein. An intimate evening celebrating Berlin's stories and music.

Did you know that a building in Berlin, originally destroyed and used as a depot for the Staatsoper Unter den Linden, is today the Barenboim-Said Akademie and Pierre Boulez Saal? The Akademie, founded by conductor Daniel Barenboim and literary scholar Edward W. Said, and the concert hall—designed by Frank Gehry and named after French composer Pierre Boulez—represent a vision that goes beyond architecture. In our upcoming episode and tour, you'll meet the team behind that vision and learn what makes this place unique—its people and its shared space for dialogue through music.

Is there a better way to spend the last day of September? 🎶✨

Step into Pierre Boulez Saal -
What Makes This Evening Special

Step inside Frank Gehry's elliptical masterpiece near Gendarmenmarkt, where there's no separation between stage and audience—only shared experience. You'll discover the stories behind this venue and understand what their "music for the thinking ear" concept really means.

Our upcoming September anniversary episode features Ole, Director of the Pierre Boulez Saal appointed by the conductor Daniel Barenboim himself—a conversation that captures the essence of what we'll celebrate on September 30th. You will have the chance to read it before the event happens.
