About Event

All are invited to become Belonging Circles Facilitators.

No Experience needed.

Completion of this training will:

  • Further your reach in your own work towards building the personal climate resilience of individuals in communities and affinity spaces.

  • Highlight a trauma-informed approach with principles of a just, equal, diverse, and inclusive (JEDI) community space.

  • Through the path of Climate "Belonging Circles for Resilience" --a program of Cascadia Stack, we can offer several tools to get your own Circles started. Hold them on your own, or under the Pacific Northwest's umbrella of Cascadia Stack's Circles, which are currently offered at least three times every month.

Each training is 70-90 minutes in duration, and online; free, with a donation suggestion of $23 or $10.

Classes presented by Lead Facilitator,
drew alcoser llano

  • Climate Cafe trained facilitator and member of Climate Psychology Alliance, North America.

  • Member of One Resilient Earth, a trained Climate Circles facilitator.

More about our work

Since 2023, Cascadia Stack has held dozens of Climate Circles. In 2024, 39 Circles served 104 people, benefitting of the volunteer time from 5 trained facilitators, both online and in-person.
Cascadia Stack's program called "CLIMA-sphere" seeks to bring personal climate resilience community building to the mainstream by establishing education and casual support meetings to factions and multicultural communities.

Our Climate Circles are also heavily influenced by the work of LaUra Schmidt, Joanna Macy, adrienne maree brown, Robin Wall Kimmerer, Renee Lertzman....

Plus, Good Grief Network, All We Can Save Project, Climate Emotions Resilience Institute, and so many more.

Here's an excerpt about the importance of bringing together "community" from LaUra Schmidt:
