Woven Black in AI Dinner
Tuesday, November 17 | Arrive 6:15 PM, seated 6:30 PM
The venue is shared with ticket holders after registration.
We're not waiting for a seat at the table. We're hosting.
There are Black professionals doing serious work in data and AI across Toronto, and many of us don't know each other. This dinner changes that. You'll find out who is building what, who you could collaborate with, who you can recommend, and who can recommend you.
This dinner is for Black professionals in data and AI who want to connect. Whether in a corporate role or building your own company, come with what you're working on and what you need. I'll seat the table on purpose and introduce you to the people you should know, so you leave with names, follow-ups, and people who can speak to your work when you're not in the room.
Now is a good time for us to meet each other, collaborate, and amplify each other's work where we can.
No panel and no pitch. Dinner, drinks, and conversation. Ready to take your seat?
Your host
I'm Kishawna Peck, founder of Woven. I work in this field, and I'm curious who else is doing this work. I haven't found a space in Toronto built for Black professionals in AI to meet, so I'm starting with a dinner for a few of us.
I built the first conference for women in data and AI in Canada, and our 10th is next year. I've featured over 100 women in data and AI on our stages, hosted over 7000 attendees, and I work with AI consultants and founders on growing their businesses. Putting the right people in the same room is what I do.
The details
The dinner is at a Black-owned restaurant in downtown Toronto. 20 seats, so you can talk to everyone at your table.
Ticket: $275
Includes dinner and two drinks.
Please arrive by 6:15 PM. We're seated at 6:30 PM sharp, and the restaurant holds the table for a short window only. Registration closes Saturday, November 14 so the restaurant can confirm the table. The short registration questions help me seat the table. Tickets are transferable until November 14. Email us the new attendee's name and we'll update the list.
