Ransomware Crisis Simulation: Minutes to Meltdown

An Executive Networking Event for New England IT Security Leaders

OVERVIEW Join the New England IT Security Leaders Consortium for a high-stakes immersion into the first critical hours of a ransomware attack. This session moves beyond theory, putting your executive decision-making to the test in a pressurized, real-world "meltdown" scenario.

THE WORKSHOP EXPERIENCE Step into a 2-hour crisis simulation of a fictional enterprise under siege. Facilitated by experts from Meridian IT and Commvault, you will adopt the persona of a C-level decision-maker forced to make rapid-fire choices regarding Initial Breach Containment, Ransom Negotiations, and Business Continuity.

WORKSHOP GOALS

  • Response & Resiliency: Master the vital steps for the first 120 minutes of an attack and leverage context-aware recovery to prevent total failure.

  • Crisis Leadership: Develop a blueprint for coordinating between IT, Security, and Executive leadership during a breach.

NETWORKING & HAPPY HOUR Connect with fellow security professionals to share post-mortem insights and local threat trends. Enjoy a complimentary buffet, craft drinks, and desserts in a relaxed, private setting at the Beer Hall.
