Kevin Feldis, Partner at Perkins Coie LLP (Moderator)
As a leader in the firm’s energy and cleantech industry groups, Kevin leverages his knowledge of both traditional and emerging technologies, as well as regulatory compliance and investor due diligence. In this capacity, he works closely with the Perkins Coie Emerging Company and Venture Capital group. Kevin also counsels clients on sustainability, ESG, supply chain and corporate social responsibility programs, disclosures, and compliance, and advises regarding carbon credits, offsets, and emission reduction benefits.
Dr. Robin Langtry, CEO of Avalanche Energy
Robin is the co-founder and CEO of Avalanche Energy which is building the world’s smallest fusion machines for mobile power applications and space propulsion. Avalanche operates three fusion machines at its Seattle, WA based HQ and is building a first-of-its-kind neutron facility in Richland, WA to provide a commercial-scale testing facility for advanced fusion technologies. Before founding Avalanche, he worked at Blue Origin and led major aspects of the New Glenn reusable rocket design. Robin holds a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Stuttgart and is considered a world expert in turbulence modeling.
Matt Loszak, CEO of Aalo Atomics
Matt is the co-founder and CEO of Aalo - a company building factory mass-manufactured nuclear power plants, purpose built for AI data centers. With Aalo, Matt is excited to help usher in a Second Atomic Age, unlocking a future of abundance for humanity while minimizing our impact on Earth. Aalo was founded 2 years ago and has raised $36M to-date, with plans to start construction on its first nuclear reactor in under 12 months. Prior to Aalo, Matt studied Engineering and Physics, and started a B2B SaaS company which grew to over 150 employees and achieved a 9-figure exit.
Lee Robinson, COO of General Matter
Lee Robinson is a Founding Member and the Chief Operating Officer of General Matter. Prior to General Matter, Lee co-founded the Department of Defense’s energy portfolio at the Defense Innovation Unit (DIU), connecting commercial technology with military needs and building partnerships across Defense and Intelligence teams to accelerate energy innovation at the Pentagon. At DIU, Lee led the portfolio’s strategic energy programs including the DOD’s Advanced Nuclear Power for Installations (ANPI) Program. Before DIU, Lee served as an Intelligence Officer with the U.S. Army's premier infantry unit, the 75th Ranger Regiment, leading operations in combat zones and working with key intelligence community partners. He then joined Bridgewater Associates, where he advised several of the largest institutional investors in the world on strategic energy investments. Lee is a Major in the US Army Reserves and is currently assigned to DIU. Lee is a Chartered Financial Analyst charter holder, holds an MBA from Fordham University and a BA from Pace University.
Matt DeNezza, CFO of Crusoe Cloud
Matthew DeNezza brings decades of financial and strategic leadership to Crusoe, where he plays a key role in financing and building a new paradigm for ESG-forward energy and computing services. Since joining the company, Matt has lead more than $15 billion in fundraising across venture, project, and credit capital, has helped scale the business from 25 people to over 1000 and has been instrumental in driving the transformation of the business into a leading, vertically integrated AI infrastructure company. Before Crusoe, Matt served as CFO of Meritage Midstream, a private equity–backed midstream operator and CFO of Eclipse Resources, an early leader in the Utica Shale. Matt joined Eclipse at its infancy and scaled it to over $4bn in TEV and took the company public. Earlier in his career, Matt spent over a decade as an energy-focused investment banker, primarily with Deutsche Bank in New York. From 2002 to 2013, he advised upstream, midstream, and downstream clients—both public and private—on billions of dollars in M&A, equity, and debt transactions. Matt began his professional journey as a commissioned officer in the U.S. Navy, serving aboard the USS Boise, a fast-attack nuclear submarine, from 1993 to 1998. He holds a Bachelor of Arts from Harvard University and an MBA from the NYU Stern School of Business. He lives in Denver, Colorado, with his wife and children.
