Join us for a climate conversation with Cindy Raspiller

This workshop series introduces you to New Wave Research Project through guest speakers. Our goal is to provide guidance and resources to develop a stronger climate design curriculum.

Cindy will introduce her Shift Deck

The Shift Deck empowers educators to spark change through a practical framework of small but powerful shifts towards climate resilient design techniques that enrich student projects, empowering the next generation of designers to lead the transformation our world needs.

Our format for this workshop will be:

  • 5 minutes: New Wave Introduction

  • 20 minutes: Speaker Presentation

  • 10 minutes: Q&A

  • 15 minutes: Attendees Share their Work

  • 5 minutes: Conclusion promoting upcoming New Wave events

About the Speakers
Cindy Raspiller is a designer, educator, and design researcher based in San José, California. Her design teaching philosophy is built on a foundation of intentionality and care, and her work explores the intersections of design pedagogy, climate resilience, and co-design.
