About Event
Austin tech icon Brett Hurt is coming Fridgeside for a wide ranging discussion on his founder journey and his recent transition to author and AI thought leader.
Brett has been building companies 25 years — Coremetrics (acquired by IBM), Bazaarvoice (a billion-dollar IPO), and data.world (acquired by ServiceNow in 2025). But his newest project isn't a company. It's a question: what if we met the age of AI with love instead of fear?
That's the heart of his new book, Love Conquers Fear: Humanity, AI, and the Age of Abundance for All — a blend of hard-earned technical perspective, spiritual curiosity, and optimism about where all of this is headed.
Happy hour from 5-5:45, Discussion 5:45-6:45, and more happy hour after.
