💻 Show What You’re Building: Xenoria City Opening Night
Xenoria City is a community of builders that comes together in one city for one month. We call it a pop-up city. The first one was in Da Nang in August. This November it is in Chiang Mai, from 1 to 30 November. It is for people building in AI, tech, crypto and creative work.
Locals welcome too. Whether you live in Chiang Mai or just landed, there's a seat at the table for you. Free, no membership needed.
What is happening?
We are joining all the tables on the 4SEAs ground floor into one long table. Everyone brings their laptop. 💻
What do I do?
Sit at the table and open your laptop.
Show what you are working on. This can be:
something you are building
a skill you can teach, like AI tools, crypto, automations, content or design
your own business
Walk along the table and see what other people are doing.
Teach something and learn something. You might meet someone to build with this month, or a future business partner.
No pressure
There is no stage and no pitching, and you don’t need to prepare anything. Leave something open on your screen and people will come to you. You can also come without a laptop and just look around.
Schedule
3:45pm: Arrive and grab your spot at the table. Plug in, open your laptop, get your project on screen.
4:00pm: The long table opens. Everyone's showing, everyone's walking the table.
5:00pm: A quick welcome from Debby, our founder (five minutes, then straight back to it)
6:30pm: Table closes
6:30pm: Afters at The Camellia cafe & music bar in Nimman, a short walk from 4Seas. Food and drinks with live music, and more time to keep chatting. Food is not included, so bring some money if you want to eat. Optional, come along for as long as you like.
If you're showing something, please be set up by 4pm so you're ready when people start walking the table.
This is the first event of the month
Xenoria has events all month, and members can run their own. If you have a skill to teach, this is a good place to start.
Working at 4Seas that day?
From 3pm we will move the ground floor tables together. You are welcome to stay and join in.
Bring: Your laptop
Cost: FREE. (Please register so we know how many tables we need)
We will take photos and videos. If you don’t want to be in them, please tell us at the door.
