Nucleate Australia is excited to partner with Collider at UniSC Innovation Centre for our very first in-person event in Queensland! Join us for an evening exploring the emerging diagnostics and health innovation ecosystem in Queensland.

Queensland’s life sciences sector is growing, with local companies and researchers developing innovative ways to detect, diagnose, and treat disease. This event will explore topics such as:
👁️ Opportunities and challenges in biotech for students, researchers, founders, and professionals in emerging ecosystems
🤗 The support and pathways available for people that are interested in research commercialisation and careers in industry
🔗 Insights from researchers and industry experts successfully translating science and navigating industry-academia collaborations
The opening address will be delivered by Professor Abigail Elizur. The program will include a brief introduction to the Collider and Nucleate Australia and their role in supporting the local innovation ecosystem. This will be followed by a panel discussion and Q&A, as well as networking and refreshments. Panelists include:

This panel will be moderated by Dr. Joanne Macdonald, Chief Technology Officer at BioCifer Pty Ltd and Associate Professor of Molecular Engineering at UniSC.
