3pm-5pm: Volunteer street clean up, recyclables sorting, & seed planting
5pm-7pm: Educational Panel & Happy Hour
Help clean up the neighborhood, learn about day-to-day work of bottle and can sorting, and help us get our garden ready for spring! Then, stick around to hear from a panel of experts on NYC’s waste landscape, the work of canning, and Sure We Can’s advocacy. Followed by a happy hour for a chance to mingle & discuss!

Sure We Can is a nonprofit recycling center and community space serving "canners" - those who collect and redeem the bottles and cans that others discard to earn income 5-cents at a time.
