Wai Chung Ngai is a technology leader with over 25 years of experience in the IT industry.
He is the Director of APJ Field Application Engineering at AMD, where he leads a team providing technical pre-sales support for AMD’s commercial products—from AI and edge to cloud—across the Asia-Pacific & Japan (APJ) region. Prior to joining AMD, Wai Chung held leadership roles at Dell and Lenovo, serving major cloud service providers and enterprises across Greater China and APJ.
He has also contributed to the IT community as the APEC Project Lead for the Open Compute Project (OCP), facilitating collaboration and driving open standards and hyperscale innovation at the regional level.
Wai Chung holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Strathclyde.
Ayush Batra is a seasoned technology executive with over two decades of experience driving enterprise transformation across the cloud and data center infrastructure landscape. He specializes in bridging the gap between ambitious AI roadmaps and tangible business outcomes, helping organizations navigate the complexities of Generative AI deployment and sovereign cloud architectures.
In his current role as AI Sales Leader for AMD across Asia Pacific & Japan (APJ), Ayush is responsible for defining and executing the go-to-market strategy for the company's next-generation AI portfolio within the region’s hyperscale, tier-2 cloud, and large enterprise data center ecosystem.
Prior to joining AMD, Ayush served as Regional Director for Technical Sales at Intel APJ, where he led a strategic pivot in market engagement. He was instrumental in transitioning the organization’s focus from component-level selling to solution oriented, customer-outcome strategies designed to address the full lifecycle of AI workloads.
A recognized voice in the regional technology community, Ayush is a frequent speaker and thought leader at premier industry forums, including Cisco Connect ASEAN, HPE OBSS, Red Hat Tech Day, and the VMware CIO Forum, where he shares insights on the intersection of accelerated computing and enterprise IT modernization.
