​🚀 Waterloo Blockchain is hosting a virtual session with Nemil Dalal, Visiting Partner at Y Combinator, for a conversation on crypto, AI agents, startups, and what YC wants to see built next.

​💡 Nemil has spent his career across startups, crypto, and developer infrastructure. Before joining YC, he founded a YC-backed company, worked on an early DeFi protocol, and spent nearly seven years at Coinbase, where he worked across USDC, crypto products, developer infrastructure, wallets, onramps, and internet-native payments.

​🤖 We’ll dig into where crypto + AI agents are heading, what infrastructure still needs to be built, what kinds of ideas YC is excited about, and how founders should think about the next wave of opportunities.

​📈 With the YC Winter 2027 application deadline coming up on November 3, Nemil will also share advice on what YC looks for in founders and founding teams, what makes an application stand out, and common mistakes applicants should avoid.
