Who is Albert Azis-Clauson?
Albert is founder and CEO of Tramlines, a London-based venture firm and company-building platform. He began his career as a ballet dancer before studying computer science and philosophy of science, a combination that shaped his structured, systems-driven approach to building businesses.
He is a multi-exited entrepreneur. His first startup became the educational and infrastructural backbone for more than 350,000 small businesses a year. After exiting, he moved into angel investing, grew frustrated with passive capital allocation, and returned to hands-on company building. He founded Tramlines to back the domain experts that traditional VC networks overlook.
Albert sits on an advisory board for HMRC, has judged the Great British Entrepreneur Awards, and has been a director and chair across fintech, infrastructure, AI and enterprise services.
