About Event

Cultural arts collective Found Sound Nation presents a build-your-own synthesizer workshop by visiting Brazilian artist Pratagy.

DIY Synthesizer Workshop is a hands-on workshop led by Leonardo Pratagy exploring sound, electronics, and creative technologies through experimentation and collective learning. No previous knowledge of music or electronics is required. Participants will build their own low-cost synthesizer using simple electronic components and learn how to make and manipulate sounds while exploring basic concepts of electronics and sound, based on Nic Collins book “Handmade Electronic Music.

$10-20 sliding scale (NOTAFLOF)

This fee covers all materials and each participant will leave the workshop with their own DIY synthesizer. If you would prefer to pay in person, select $0 and register to save your spot.
