Founders Showcase

​Malaika's Founders Showcase is back for an evening of bold ideas, sharp conversations, and great energy in Berkeley. Hosted by the African entrepreneurs club in Berkeley, in partnership with the Berkeley Gateway Accelerator, this gathering brings founders, builders, and investors into one room to meet the people behind some of the most exciting work happening across the local startup scene.

​If you have been to past editions, you will recognize the format and the vibe. The night is built around founder spotlights, open networking, and plenty of room for real conversation. Previous events have featured a welcome and opening remarks, a round of founder showcases and short presentations, audience Q and A, and a relaxed mixer where guests could keep the conversation going, trade notes, and make introductions that actually led somewhere.

​This special edition keeps that same rhythm. You can expect time to hear what deep tech founders are building, discover fresh ideas early, and share your own work with people who are curious, thoughtful, and ready to engage.
