Winter Workshop 4: Painting An Arctic Fox
Join me this December for a series of four cozy, winter-themed art workshops — each one taught step-by-step with a clear overhead camera so you can easily follow along.
Each workshop explores a different technique: drawing, painting, folding, or crafting. You can join all four or pick the ones that inspire you most.
These workshops are suitable for all skill levels, and you’ll be guided step-by-step with a clear overhead camera view so you can easily follow along.
This workshop:
Paint a serene Arctic Fox using watercolour and salt-texture techniques. Learn how to build soft fur, glowing winter highlights, and sparkling snow effects.
Materials:
watercolour paper (A4 or A3)
coarse sea salt
watercolours or water-based gouache
mid-size + small brushes
white gouache or acrylic white marker
darker pencils
a hairdryer if you have it
If you want to work quietly, you can turn off your camera and/or microphone. At the end of the session, you can share your work, but it's entirely optional. It's meant to be a fun and relaxing time.
Please do tag me when you share your work on Instagram, my Instagram ID is - @lascarlatte
You can also tag me on Substack and/or post your work in our Creative Cocoon Club chat.
A recording of the session will be up afterwards.
Looking forward to the session, see you there!
