About Event

Miami-Dade Beacon Council Members: Got a backlog of projects your team can't get to?

If your organization has been sitting on data analysis, app development, automation, or other tech-driven projects that your team doesn't have bandwidth for—this info session is for you.

What is Sprinternship™?

Sprinternship™ is a 3-week micro-internship program at FIU's Knight Foundation School of Computing & Information Sciences, in partnership with Break Through Tech.

You bring a real business challenge. We match you with a team of technically skilled computing students who work on your project. It's a low-lift way to move your projects forward while investing in Miami's next generation of tech talent.

Who's already doing this?

20+ companies—including American Express, Baptist Health, and the Miami Heat—have partnered with us on projects ranging from data dashboards to process automation to prototype development.

In this session, you'll learn:

  • How the Sprinternship™ model works

  • What kinds of projects are a good fit

  • How to scope a challenge for student teams

Register to see if Sprinternship™ is right for your organization.
