What's this all about?
Turn that "some-day" idea into "done-today." Makers Gonna Make is a full-day build sprint where you sit with other builders, put your head down, and actually ship something - then high-five about it at the end.
This Sunday, we're welcoming State of the Map Europe attendees who are in Dundee for the weekend. Working on something map-related, GIS, or cartography-themed? Perfect - you'll have great company. Building a SaaS app, designing a portfolio, writing content, or fixing that side-project bug? Also perfect - that's what MGM is all about.
All projects welcome. Whether you're coding, designing, planning, writing, or tinkering with hardware - if you're making something, you belong here.
Can't stay the full day? No problem! Join us for the morning session (10:00-13:00), afternoon session (14:00-17:00), or the whole day. We know visitors might have trains to catch and locals might have other commitments - come for whatever time works for you.
Who it's for
Indie hackers, weekend tinkerers, midnight-shift coders, no-coders, vibe-coders, cartographers visiting from abroad, and Dundee locals building anything at all. If you're building something for the sheer joy of it, you belong here.
Who it's not for
Promoters, agencies, sales or hiring pitches. This space is for makers: turning napkin sketches into real products, helping each other out, and giving honest feedback.

14:00-16:00 Make Time #2 - back to the grind (or groove) (Afternoon session starts here)
16:00 Show & Tell - up to 10 min per volunteer demo (optional)
17:00 Finish + debrief / pint across the street (optional)
