The second edition of the Giga Photo Award brings together visual storytellers from across the world exploring how internet access shapes daily life and what happens when it doesn’t. From conflict and displacement to education, healthcare, and activism, the selected works trace how connection is maintained under pressure.
Centered on the theme The Urgency of Connectivity, the award received 4,747 submissions from 724 participants across 97 countries. The selected works capture moments of resilience, adaptation, and collective expression across diverse contexts.
The evening marks the announcement of this year’s award winners, with space to explore the exhibition and meet some of the photographers behind the work.
