TERMINAL7: Building Horror Games - Open Registration
Building Arcade Horror Games from the Terminal with Cline
TERMINAL7 is a hands-on descent into the command line, where we’ll build glitchy, unsettling arcade horror games directly from the terminal using Cline. No bloated engines, no hand-holding UI. Just raw prompts, tight feedback loops, ASCII ghosts, cursed sprites, procedural dread, and that beautiful green-on-black flow state. You’ll learn how to orchestrate gameplay systems, generate assets, refactor mechanics, and iterate fast using Cline CLI as your co-conspirator.
This workshop is for builders who like their tools sharp and their vibes darker. We’ll explore how constraint breeds creativity, how terminal-native workflows unlock speed, and how to turn minimal inputs into maximum atmosphere. By the end, you won’t just have a playable horror arcade prototype—you’ll have a repeatable workflow for shipping weird, experimental games straight from the shell. Bring a laptop. Leave with nightmares.
This event is hosted at the Frontier Tower:
We are transforming a 16-floor tower in San Francisco into a self-governed vertical village—a hub for frontier technologies and creative arts. Tier-one labs presenting AI, Ethereum, biotech, neuroscience, longevity, robotics, human flourishing, and arts & music. These floors will house innovators and creators pushing the boundaries of human potential in a post-AI-singularity world.
