Being Here: Meditation and Dharma with Milo
Being Here is a weekly gathering guided by seasoned Dharma Teacher Milo Burn.
The gathering is to celebrate silence and stillness, to study, practice and realize Buddhist teachings, and for dynamic inquiry into mindfulness, freedom, and compassion in the midst of daily life. So much of our lives are oriented toward becoming. Being Here offers a regular space to pause that momentum and explore what becomes possible when we give our attention to simply being here.
Through meditation, heart teachings, and conversation, we practice bringing this quality of being into the rest of our lives. The emphasis is on direct experience rather than technique. Think: less following a recipe and more hanging out in your grandma’s kitchen!
Come to practice, listen, ask questions, and spend time in a space devoted to being here.
