The AML Package and PSD3/PSR in Practice: Scenarios You Can Expect to Face
A FINREG PARTNERS workshop · 50 minutes · Practice, not theory
There are two ways to read the new European rules on payment services and AML/KYC: as hundreds of pages of legislation, or as a list of specific situations that will arise in your bank, payment institution or fintech. We have picked twelve of them, ranging from payment interfaces and providers’ liability for fraud to customer onboarding and transaction monitoring. For each one, we will set out what is changing, who will be responsible for what, and what you need to prepare. Some of the changes may even open up new opportunities.
No dry lectures on legal provisions – just twelve real-world cases, each answering three questions: What is changing? Who is responsible? What needs to be done?
Who should attend: Compliance and AML officers, product and risk managers, and senior management at banks, payment institutions, fintechs, crypto-asset service providers and other obliged entities.
What you will take away: An overview of the key changes by role (product compliance IT), a timeline of when the new rules take effect, and a checklist of steps worth taking this year.
The workshop is free of charge.
The workshop is part of UnBundled, a full-day event organised by The FinTechers. We would also like to invite you to the panel Who Actually Owns the Risk?, which looks at liability for payment fraud and is moderated by Jan Šovar, partner at our firm. More information is available here.
We look forward to seeing you there – and to discussing your own cases on the day.
