From Pain to Resource: Embodied Awareness, Posture & Movement
Join me for a gentle exploration of the body, guided by functional anatomy and embodied awareness.
I’ll share some of my own journey from experiencing my body as pain to discovering it as a reliable resource for grounding, rest, and guidance.
My work is rooted in the Alexander Technique and has evolved through ten years of self-practice and teaching, meditation, and emotional healing. Over the past two years, brain retraining for mold sensitivity and energy practices have further broadened my understanding and informed my approach.
Through experiential practices, we’ll explore how subtle holding patterns we may not notice can shape our posture and contribute to pain, and what can happen when we make contact with what is already there rather than trying to change it.
Depending on time and interest, I may demonstrate hands-on guidance with a volunteer. I’m also happy to offer brief hands-on guidance to anyone who would like to experience it, during the workshop or afterwards.
