Mystical Church
The Mystical Church is an experimental Sunday service to explore the sacred through the lens and tradition of Christianity. Moving past Christianity's dogma, it is a place to practice reverence, to re-remember who we are, and to be together in the vastness of whatever we call God, Mystery, Reality, Love. You do not need a specific belief to belong here, or any belief at all. Only a willingness to be honest, present, and open with however the sacred emerges for you and collectively. This service will be an experimental, honest exploration of the Christian sacred utilizing a variety of practices:
🕊️ gathering — settling in, circling up
🧘 contemplative silence & centering prayer — entering the quiet beneath our words
🎶 song — old and new, sung together
🎤 the teaching — a talk and Q&A from a guest speaker
📖 the word — a reading and discussion of ideas
