A Day of Culture, Connection & Growth — SXSW 2027
THE PLAYGROUND™ — SXSW 2027
Free community event — No SXSW badge required.
Produced by WILD MINDS INITIATIVE
Welcome to The Playground™ — a full-day Wild Minds experience where founders, creatives, artists, brands, builders, families, and curious minds come together to connect, discover, and play.
For SXSW 2027, we’re taking over UMLAUF Sculpture Garden + Museum for a day built around culture, creativity, entrepreneurship, and human connection.
No traditional conference energy. No forced networking.
Expect conversations worth joining, brands worth discovering, people worth meeting, music, food, tastings, creative activations, and plenty of unexpected moments throughout the day.
This is not an official SXSW event. It is an independent Wild Minds Initiative experience created for the wider community.
What to Expect
Panels + creative conversations
Brand discovery + interactive activations
Founders, artists, creators + curious minds
Music + live experiences
Food, drinks + tastings
Networking without the awkward networking
A place to meet, discover, create + play during SXSW
Free to attend
