Spotlight: How to Make your Neighborhood Thrive with Culture and Community w/The Village Trip
Please join us on Tuesday March 17th for a special event about the place we call home: the Village (East and West), and how you can support a thriving community and culture wherever you may live.
Knitting a community closer together, highlighting and supporting the artists and people that make vibrant neighborhoods thrive — if you move through the world thinking through these questions, we’d like to invite you to a very special evening of neighborhood history, music, and celebration. Sharing their wisdom will be the team behind The Village Trip, an annual festival celebrating the culture and community in the historic area Anew calls home.
You’ll hear a little about what makes the Village special, the type of work needed to keep its cultural community thriving, and some of the events the Festival has planned for the future. We’ll get to hear some music as well! Come join with friends, and maybe you’ll be inspired to find new ways of supporting your neighborhood, wherever that may be.
Please RSVP to let us know if you're able to come. Drinks will be served.
Anew is a gathering space and discovery center for the social impact community.
The Village Trip’s mission is to uplift, to entertain and to celebrate the arts for all New Yorkers, their families and all people from around the world who come to visit Downtown Manhattan’s special oases, Greenwich Village and the East Village.
