​What is LetterWest?

​The Fifth Annual Craft Lake City LetterWest is a celebration of calligraphy and modern hand lettering.

​As the premier hand lettering conference in the nation, LetterWest is hosted by top lettering artists from Utah and around the world. In 2024, Craft Lake City partnered with Midvale City to bring the conference to a wider audience. LetterWest features keynote speakers, panel discussions, a community art project, and hands-on educational workshops.

​As the only hand lettering conference in North America, LetterWest unites a unique creative community, including calligraphers, muralists, tattoo artists, graphic designers, and lettering enthusiasts of all levels.
