immersive story club
This is an evening of a VR film, collage, poetry, and shared space.
What to expect:
VR short film --> Meta Quest 2 thanks to Gray Area
Casual rotating headset viewing --> not all need to watch at the same time unless we want that...
Analog collage materials &/or poetry / writing prompts
Conversation + ambient social space
About Virtual Reality
Participants are responsible for their own safety and personal wellbeing. By attending, you agree that VR can be disorienting and if it bothers you that you should take off the headset at any time.
A note about Immersive Story Club
This club is less about critical feedback to change the films and more an inquiry into activating existing tech and experiences - and in a DIY way, asking how sharing them can be a catalyst for human-led care and redistributed creative agency as a format.
No tech background required.
