Humanity uses natural resources 1.7x faster the Earth can regenerate them (Global Footprint Network). As this gap between consumption and regeneration grows, how can we leverage technology to reduce our ecological overshoot? And how might these technologies represent a competitive advantage for their providers and users?
Join us on April 22nd for an interactive workshop inspired by and based on Global Footprint Network‘s tools and its Earth Overshoot Day, where attendees simulate the deployment of technological interventions with the goal of pushing back the date when the global population’s demand for ecological resources exceeds what the Earth can regenerate in that year. The event will include technology demos and a live simulation of how interventions can help #MoveTheDate.
