On October 9th, La French Tech Tokyo and 42Tokyo will co-host a one-hour event on “The State of Developers in Japan.” From startups to large corporations, the environment surrounding engineers in Japan is undergoing rapid change. This event will explore the current landscape of Japan’s developer community, the challenges it faces, and its connections to the global ecosystem.

42Tokyo is the Tokyo campus of the global “42” network, founded in 2013 by French entrepreneur Xavier Niel. As part of more than 70 campuses worldwide, it is a tuition-free, teacherless engineering school built on peer-to-peer and project-based learning. Admission is highly selective, with only a small percentage of candidates passing the month-long “Piscine” entrance program, ensuring an elite community of future software engineers.
