The 2040 Scientists: A Climate Writing Workshop
The year is 2040, and a bird virus has infected the human population on a desolate island. In this exhibit, you will be part of a team of scientists tasked to traverse the jungle terrain, find the infected bird through its bird song and make a vaccine before the virus can spread to the mainland. This I will be an guided, interactive, choose-your-own-adventure experience at the intersect of science and writing. It is meant to probe how we see the world around us, and how we are connected to everything.
No prior experience required! Space is limited.
The workshop will be led by Annalena La Porte, Ph.D., of the NYC Climate Writers Collective, and Scientist Rebellion NYC.
